IPad / MacBook?

I've been thinking about my future in the last days. It annoys me to spend so much time in technical equipment, instead of taking the time to learn, that's why I decided to part with my objects! Does bsp.

Playstation 4 mobile phone etc.

Then I would have a budget for what I could buy a MacBook or IPad Pro, which could help me for school purposes, because in our school at the time sometimes such a device is needed and somehow you have to do some research for the school therefore I came to that to your senses.

Of course, I could also take a cheap option or simply save the money, but I also wanted to gain experience with a new device.

Since I know nothing about IPads and have no idea about the functions of a MacBooks I hereby ask the question what might be more suitable and how long this device could be for the future, because I'm not enough and not unnecessarily throw out money want.

I thank you in advance! LG Baris

Of course, it has to be a Macbook directly because a normal laptop is never enough for the school. For Word, Excel, etc. Is a 250 euro laptop completely exhausting, it will not do you any more to invest. When you go to study, a Macbook makes sense, but not at the age of 13.

Li

Ok I can't be that because I was often on my mother's leptop and is often greasy even though he was purchased 3 weeks ago and would have cost 400 euro: /

Li

And what about an iPad?

Ho

What are you doing in school that would require an iPad Pro or MacBook?

If you only do tasks with it, surf the Internet and so on, a cheap Android tablet or a 400 euro laptop will do. Apple products are overpriced and do not have a long warranty. A repair would be damn expensive without warranty.

Fo

If he crashes, you should bring him back, that's not the price. In the past, the 300 euro laptops were still very slow, but nowadays there are some current I3 models in there, they have steam.

I can only recommend that you keep your fingers off the overpriced Apple stuff. Apple was once innovative, but now they are behind the competition, the quality has partially subsided, they are still very expensive. The definition of thrown out money

For while Apple has the iPad Pro, which can't run desktop software and has the MacBook, which has neither touch nor pen input, there's for example the Surface Pro from Microsoft, which can do both without compromise. It is a full-fledged computer in the form of a tablet. I used my Surface Pro at school and I still use it during my studies. Thanks to the pen input you can use it as a digital notepad, at the same time you always have a laptop, well, everything a laptop can do.

With 1cm thick (with keyboard) and about 1kg weight, it is also pleasant to have it always with you.

We sometimes program to compile papers on books or build test manuals in NW to match a viedo

Li

Great answer, then I inform myself about the tablet

Only recently, there was the problem with MacBook Pros that after about a year, the screens due to a design flaw have stopped working (has now been fixed), and the keyboard is still extremely vulnerable to failure. Even a little dust or dirt can put the buttons out of action. Reliability or durability is no longer an argument for MacBooks. In addition, you can't transfer the quality of a 400 euro Windows laptop to all Windows laptops, there are indeed different price ranges and manufacturers. On iPads, you have the problem that you can't run normal desktop programs, just the apps that exist in the AppStore. Many programs are not available as app or only in a slimmed down version.
