MacBook Pro as a LAN device for Xbox One?

My 2018 MacBook Pro, on the other hand, usually has a ping of around 7ms. The Xbox tends to be higher between 30-40 sometimes. Now I wanted to ask, is it possible to leave my MacBook Pro in the WLAN as before and to establish a LAN connection between the MacBook Pro and Xbox One.
