Question is up there.
I would mainly be interested in the videos section such as YouTube and the gaming area. I play partly on PC and partly on PS4 Pro. The console would certainly benefit from a 4K TV, but what about Windows 10? I know that the upscaling of Windows should not be so good, but what is it like if you simply switch the resolution from Windows to Full HD on a 4K television because then there's no upscaleing.
A normal eye sees little difference between Full HD and 4K. If the price for 4k is relatively good I would recommend it to you. If you want to make videos, I recommend the Full HD TV because recording programs only go up to 1080p.
As well as. Only 4k screens are often built larger so that you can use the 4k (and because it is probably technically easier), which is why full hd on a 4k screen may not look so cool. If so it is because of the screen size. With screens of the same size, it usually has to look the same🤔
The console basically does nothing but upscaling, only in better
In Windows, 4k is now not a problem in my opinion?
That was not the question.
It depends on the panel. TVs usually have lower resolutions than the native ones but better than monitors. When I play on my TV in 720p it is just as sharp as the native 1080p, just logically a bit bigger and less fine-pixelated. On the monitor, FullHD looks a bit washed out in games instead of 1440p. So not so pretty.
For 4K gaming on the PC you need a strong graphics card. Current consoles are optimized for 4K display.
I don't want to play in 4K because of the huge specs you need. A friend of mine said that when I play a resolution of 1080p on a 4k television that everything looks a bit washed out because of the upscale. Is there a difference between TVs and PC monitors?
Yes, as I said, it depends on the panel. My LG Full HD shows 720 pixels very well. My monitor, however, is rather washed out.
