Why can't I take off my boots in Minecraft PS4?

Moin guys, I just wanted to make my boots on Netherite, but I can't take them off, they don't have a curse on the bond?

If I want to take them, I have them briefly and then they go straight back to my shoe slot.

Why is that and how can I take it off?

Single player or multiplayer?

Restart the game

Probably a bug.
I once only had with the inventory
