Left analog stick is not PC?

Hi guys played some Resident Evil today. At a QuickTime event, I turned the left analog stick a bit too fast, which is why. The left stick is not running properly anymore. It somehow goes its own way. At first I thought it would have broken it but everything went smoothly on the PS4. Can someone tell me why could lie?
