Minecraft snow doesn't stay?

It snows continuously, but the snow doesn't stay. What should I do? I play on ps4

I think there shouldn't be light nearby, i.e. Glowstone or a torch.

Snow can only remain if there's no light source such as glowstone, torches, lanterns etc. Within a distance of approx. 3 blocks. In addition, he can't stay on stairs or slabs which are arranged in the lower half of the block. Or maybe a simple gamer owl has been converted which prevents the snow from staying lying around.

Turn off the option "Global warming" in the settings.
