Sims 4 build mode?

I don't know how to best phrase the question. If you build the roofs at Sims you can extend them on the sides or the roof more or less protrudes. If you want to pull it longer, both sides automatically become longer. Can you do that on the ps4 that is only one page longer or shorter? I know that it works on PC. I hope I explained it in a reasonably understandable way.
