I got the hard drive from Toshiba Convio Basic 2TB and want to transfer the application memory and recording gallery of the PS4 to the hard drive. However, this does not work. It says that the hard drive is only used as extended storage. I can only transfer apps and games. So is there any way to transfer the clips from the recording gallery and offline storage etc?

No. You can export recordings to external storage media, but not to the extended storage. There are only games on it.
