Xbox Series X with HDD hard drive?

I recently got my Xbox Series X. However, I still have my old One X hard drive. If I use the old HDD hard drive for the Series X, it means that the games won't run as smoothly as with the built-in Series X hard drive. Or does the transfer time from the external hard drive to the Xbox just suffer when you insert a new game disc?

edit: In short, do the games have any deductions from the external HDD hard drive (e.g. Less FPS, slower loading times, etc.) when I connect them to the Series X? The Series X has a faster SSD. So what impairments do you have if an older 4TB HDD hard drive is attached and the games are then started over it?

He

It's about the general speed, i.e. Loading and access times

ma

You can't install a SATA hard drive there.

ju

Does that mean the games have longer loading times with my external hard drive than with the SSD?

It's about an external HDD 4 TB hard drive, I can easily connect it to the Series X via USB… 😅

Yes

The question is that it is an external one

ma

Yes, but mine there you can no longer install xsx titles on it.

ma

Significantly longer.
