I can't travel to the next Ng because the beacon in the fire band shrine does not indicate the next trip or whatever should be there. I defeated the final boss and also made the DLCs except in The Ringed City the dragon but I also defeated Gael i don't know I have to kill the dragon or what. By the way, play on PS4
No, you should actually get to NG + without locking the DLCs.
If the option for the NG + did not appear at the beacon in the fire band shrine, I would simply defeat the final boss again and then directly select that you want to start the NG + immediately.
But how am I supposed to defeat the final boss again if he's already dead anyway.
And maybe I should mention that I'm currently in NG +, that means I would now go to NG ++
Am I confusing something now? Somehow, I was just now convinced that the final boss is still there as long as you don't switch to NG +. - although… It doesn't really make sense, because otherwise you could unlock the different ends right away.
It is actually very strange that you still can't switch to NG ++.
Do you still have an older game where the final boss is still alive?
Out of "desperation" I would probably try to join another player in the fight against the final boss in the hope that this "beacon bug" will be repaired.
I just wondered if the bissel bugt and that it was not counted that I defeated the final boss, but you can only go to the dlc the ringed city if you killed him, the bonfire will not be triggered
Hmm… I'm frankly a bit baffled. Because the DLCs really shouldn't affect the ability to switch to NG +.
In addition, Midir is pretty well hidden… It's actually pretty easy to miss. And optional bosses have never been decisive in the DarkSouls series to start a more difficult game round.
It really sounds like a bug… Since you seem to have started NG + before… And now you want to start NG ++.
What comes to my mind… If defeating the final boss in another player's world doesn't help, you could try reinstalling the game. Perhaps a new installation will help so that the option for another game run appears at the beacon.
Jo okay I'll try everything anyway Dark souls 2 still get today no idea why I play part three before part 2 but it doesn't matter thanks for the help in any case.
I hope your save can be saved somehow.
I also played DS3 as the first… Then DS2 and to top it off DS1. The order doesn't really matter. Nevertheless, I was ultimately particularly enthusiastic about DS1
Haha yes, I was planning to do so well, let's say stay healthy and stuff
Thank you too - and have fun, patience and nerves on the long, arduous journey through DarkSouls 2 and 1 XD
XD I will have determined😂
Just a question which part is the hardest in your opinion? 😅
Uh… Difficult question, because I actually had my difficulties with all parts ^^ - My first DarkSouls was the most difficult DarkSouls. I first had to learn what the game was expecting from me… Which is a special challenge when you normally play games in Idioten-Mouds. Each part contains certain sections that made me feel like it was the hardest thing I ever tried to gamble.
However, all parts have their plus and minus points. In retrospect, I personally found DS2 to be the most difficult, because I not only died there often because of the opponents… But I also constantly had the feeling that the surroundings wanted to kill me. I occasionally gamble a little "strange"… So it's quite possible that not everyone stumbles through the area as awkwardly as I XD
Well, the way I fought Gundir at first was just embarrassing in retrospect and easily spent ten hours against the Abyss Watchers. Well, I'm looking forward to the other parts.
Well… I would never call it "embarrassing" now… No matter how awkwardly awkward you do. The idea of the game was never that it was easy… And it was probably never the idea that everyone could "walk through" it. Only those players who have incredible frustration resistance and decent endurance can be successful.
Oh yes… The Abyss Watchers were tough. I had to take a co-op partner with me… And I still ran like a frightened chicken in a circle because I was totally overwhelmed with two opponents at the same time XD
And I countered Lord Wolnir with a bandit knife. I felt like I was going to defeat this monster with a kitchen knife… And I kept wondering why it just doesn't want to be damaged XD
And this nameless king… Still makes me speechless ^^ '
In retrospect, there's probably no other game that will remember so many funny, tragic or euphoric moments as with a DarkSouls.
I don't know if you know but at Wolnir you have to hit the rings until they explode so it's easy.
So the Nameless King, I'm desperate too. I found the first phase quite easy, but the second is sick. Once he was almost dead and I had only one estus and I became too greedy and still died although only 1 or 2 strokes were missing. Then I jumped up and quickly took a picture and then felt my chair killed.
How can you insert a picture here? I still have the picture.
Yes, at Wolnir I desperately asked my buddy what I had to do. And he just like that, "break his rings on his arms!" - I was even more stupid, with my super short "kitchen knife" XD - but I really thought the idea was really great that there were certain weak points to be successful at all.
That's why DarksSouls 1 has some really cool boss fights, which have great surprises in store = D
Oh, unfortunately I already had problems with the Nameless King in the first phase. I had to knock the dragon on the feet because somehow I couldn't bake to attack its head. And when my last Estus was swallowed and the dragon finally blessed the time, my joy was so huge for a moment… Then unfortunately the revenge of the king followed… And I was a little… Shocked XD
But this feeling of believing that you could erase the last millimeters of your boss's life with a few quick strokes, even though your endurance is already scratching your limit… To fail because of your own greed, I have also experienced this many times. I think there are too many games that use this tactic, so sometimes it is difficult to hold back.
Unfortunately I do not know how to insert pictures here… = /
Yes, that's exactly the problem if you have defeated him almost completely and already felt a rapid heartbeat of death and you just want to see him dead then you just got too greedy I also had with Gael. And with Sister Friede I had the same moment when I had no more estus after the second phase and thought it was done and then this voice comes up and you think what's going on now. What is your main weapon or favorite weapon?
Haha… Sister peace… It was just so tragic… That I had to laugh at it. I had expected that after the first fight the whole thing wouldn't be over yet… But after the second phase it was a reason to call for help - it was just too much for my humble talent XD
My favorite weapon in DS3 was actually this short bandit / kitchen knife ^^ '- Since I'm actually still one of those players who wildly work on the controller and hope to be fast enough, the bandit knife with its light weight and speed was and its bleeding effect is actually ideal for me. Only in the further course of the game did I have to replace it with a slightly longer, light one-handed sword. Because it was just too dangerous if you had to get so close to your opponent.
But I didn't have such direct favorite swords in any of the DarkSouls parts. From the beginning, however, I played parts 2 and 1 with such medium-sized swords. With DS1 it went in the direction of "straight dragon sword" / "snake sword".
And what were you mostly traveling with?
So I always played with the sword of the Black Knight at least in the first play through I think it was somewhere in the Catacombs of Cartus (sorry wrongly misspelled) and later before I wanted to go to NG + I found Smoug's big hammer. It is very heavy and eats a lot of stamina, but at the highest level it does a lot of damage and is also a lot of fun, and since I have worked hard to be able to wear Havel's armor, it doesn't matter much. I now always vary between the sword and the hammer. Unfortunately, they are both weapons that only go up to +5 from the level and that you can't work through, but still two cool weapons.
Oh yes, I can remember this place of discovery in the Catacombs of Carthus, since I only discovered this illusion wall by a stupid accident and was then surprised by this knight ^^ '
There were Smoug's big hammer in DS3? My God! I probably didn't notice it in the inventory… But since DarkSouls 1 I will never forget it ^^ '
I often don't really have the skill under control. And since I often do not know in advance how I would like to "run around" towards the end, it can sometimes happen that I can only carry a kitchen knife to armor in order to be able to dodge reasonably.
Yes, there was a hammer somewhere in this ice valley where you fight against Sulivan, the name is not known, but it is also too difficult to describe you have to watch a video.
So I'm very excited about the boss fight with Smough and the other one. I can already say that I'll have a lot of fun but the harder the better the game gets because it's designed to be hard apart from the deacons of the abyss or something xD.
By the way, you can also wear Smoug's armor in DS3, you can buy it from the Shrine Maid, but you don't know what to give her.
Was it irithyll? Or something like that? Probably the hammer was in my inventory, because I can hardly walk past a shiny without collecting it - even if I have to lose my life for it… Like these stupid glitter things in the lava lake XD
So I don't know… If I want to look like Smough in this game - because he wasn't exactly a beauty XD
Oh yes, Smough and Ornstein are an impressive combination. The place where the two can be found will also make your heart beat faster. Why don't you just play DS1 right away? - Because, in my view, DS1 is way better than DS2 in terms of mood and feeling. And Smough and Ornstein are really worth a look ^^
Yes in Irithyll but he was not just lying around he was in a room where a knight looks at a picture like that you can take a staircase up to the left and then you have to turn left and then again and then there are three boxes but don't worry no facial expressions chests are three real ones. In one there's a ring in the other such a healing potion that you can only use once and in the middle the hammer.
So I can't run past Shinys my buddy does that and if he watches me gamble he is always annoying and says bor luckily you took this messy pine resin or something.
And yes, like Smough, I don't think any looks but I think it's a pretty good armor but just need a bit of strain because it's not the lightest armor.
I'm now going to write to a buddy maybe later, if you're up for it, of course.
Oh, yes, I can remember these three boxes. On this upper floor there were also two knights with arches who shot you in the back so wonderfully as soon as you entered the room in the lower area XD
The facial expressions chests were sometimes really a curse if you failed to pay attention to the direction in which the small chain is located.
Funny that there are actually people who can just leave a shiny XD - I still remember how I had problems with a single shiny back in Bloodborne back then… I felt like I was jumping around for ages. In the end it was some not so useful item… But never mind, the main thing is to collect ^^ '
yes, the weight of the really great equipment is a bit of a curse. You just have to decide in advance how you want to play. Because leveling is usually not that easy… Although you occasionally stumble across great areas that are ideal for leveling. With the exception of DS2 … The possibilities for leveling were unfortunately a bit limited ^^
I think it's great to be able to chat with someone about DarkSouls again… Because unfortunately I don't really know many people who are enthusiastic about these games. - And at the moment I'm almost thinking about playing a DarkSouls or Bloodborne again.
Yes you have to take care of the knights a little bit annoying.
Yes, the facial expressions are really annoying but you can defeat them relatively easily.
Yes, I haven't played Bloodborne yet. DS3 is the only From Software game I've played at least so far. I wanted to get Sekiro but bought Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
I know only one who played or still plays the games. At the moment I only know Dark Souls 3 but I have already bought DS2 is downloading it so tonight we will grind or try at least. But it is kind of strange to write about good question haha.
