PS3 controller not responding?

I have a little problem and I have a PlayStation 3 and a "wired mini controller" from Bigben interactive (certified).

I've already played with it 3-4 times until the PlayStation suddenly stopped responding to the controller. The lights are on to indicate that it is on, but there's nothing I can do. I then connected the controller to the laptop and tried it out with gamepad-tester.com; all buttons responded without any problems and everything worked fine during the game.

Then I thought it might be due to the USB port on the PlayStation, but when I connected my mouse it worked (so I was able to do an update, which unfortunately didn't work)

Now I really don't know what else to do, I don't really want to buy a new controller because mine is still working.

Better to buy the original. Those who buy cheap buy more often.

Can you still get originals for the ps3?
