Ps4 controller on pc wireless headset?

Can you connect your ps4 controller to the pc and use an astro a50 at the same time? Because I heard that you have to put your headset into the controller to have sound and to be able to talk but that doesn't work with the a50 because it is wirelessly connected to a base station with the pc. Ok because i once had a headset with cable and i had to do that in the controller i had sound
