My son has been using a "Nacon Wired Compact Controller" on his PS4 for some time. Everything's fine… Until yesterday…
He always connects the controller to his headset with a microphone. He can still hear his friends in a party but they have not heard him since yesterday. The headset is plugged in properly, the volume controls are all set correctly and the microphone from the headset is fine.
In other controllers, the headset works well and synonymous with another headset occurs with said Nacon controller o. G. Problem. So it's definitely a problem of the controller. The PS4 also indicates that the Nacon controller has a headset / microphone connected to it but will not show any "rashes" when talking to the PS4 microphone icon (as usual).
What can be the problem here?
You've already found out for yourself: Since the Micro works on another controller and another Micro does not work on this controller, it can only be on the controller, which apparently can no longer process the Micro signal.
Most likely, the socket has a damage and I doubt that it can be repaired.
OK thank you…
