Selling goods abroad, buyer comes from England and wants to transfer the money normally. Can I get ripped off?

I really have no idea what to do.

I'm selling my PlayStation 4 on eBay classifieds and a prospective customer from England has contacted me and would like to transfer the money to my bank normally.

can he withdraw the money after he has received the goods? Or rather; can I be ripped off at this sale? If I offer PayPal with buyer protection, then there's also the risk that he can withdraw the money, but how is it going through the bank?

I ask for advice blows…

The one with the English customer is a very popular and well-known scam with fake bank transactions. You shouldn't go into it in any way. Only sell in the classifieds to people who pick up something themselves and pay the money in cash.

Ev

Just leave it,

PayPal, hands off, package not arrived, buyer protection money is gone; the PS4 too 😂😂😂

Transfer to the account

You get a dubious email from a bank - money can only be released after the tracking number has been transmitted

AMOUNTED TO
should he personally pick you up and pay CASH

This is what classifieds are intended for

Fa

English customers. There are serious natural curls, but in recent years there has also been a lot of complaint from allegedly English customers.

They will then send you some Auark that they have already transferred, they urgently need it and you should already.

You never see money, goods are gone.

Just let it be.

Ha

If the payment actually goes into your account, everything is fine.

But instead you will probably get a (fake, of course) email from a bank telling you that the payment has already been made and that you only need to present a shipping confirmation.

If you get involved, you have lost, because in this case you will never get the money.

No

I'm selling my PlayStation 4 on eBay classifieds and an interested party from England has contacted me
and would like to transfer the money to my bank normally.

And do you know what will happen as follows: You will receive an email with the same content from "the bank" of the buyer (this was certainly also asked for) …

The purchase price has been instructed for payment, as soon as you provide a tracking number, the payment will be released - well, no bank in the world would come up with the absurd idea of contacting a payee - what for?

Really… Do you really think that there aren't enough offers of this kind in the UK?

Conclusion - report your account to EBAY and block fraudsters.

And please do not accept PP payment either… Then the shipment never arrived, or there was a stone in the package or what I know what… In the end, however, you will not have any money.
