My DualSense controller needs to be repaired. The problem with it is that it drifts upwards even though you are not touching anything. That's a known problem, at least you can't really play like that and I want to send it in for repair. Where does that work, I didn't get any smarter by googling because the Sony repair centers somehow don't repair consoles, only TVs, cell phones and such?
Then I found something for PS5 controller repairs at kaputt.de, but that costs 200 euro which is nonsense of course and it should be repaired free of charge anyway, because I still have the guarantee.
I bought it at Gamestop, but on their website I only find something for returns, but I don't want to return the controller, just get it repaired or replaced.
Do I have to contact Gamestop or Sony now? On the Sony side I can't find anything to repair, just televisions and cell phones…
I'm afraid if you rely on the guarantee, you will also have to hand in the PS5 to get something new, if in stock.
But I can't tell you exactly, please clarify with the seller
Sony doesn't fix controllers, just like Xbox. Either gamestop or buy a new one, preferably with a guarantee
If you have a guarantee, you need to contact the seller.
