I was about to put together a pc, most of the parts I already have and the only thing missing is the graphics card. I was 100 percent sure to buy a rtx 2080 and a 4K monitor with which I then zocke on the pc, but also on the ps4. Now some think that between 4K and 2K there are hardly any differences between Ultra HD and WQHD. Unfortunately, I can't test it and the Youtube video hardly makes sense, because in my opinion it has to be seen live.

ryzen 5 2600
b450 tomahawk mainboard
500 w bequit 80 plus gold
1 TB ssd.
Has anyone of you already had the experience? Is there not much difference between 4K and 2K?
Because then I would buy a RTX 2060 or RTX 2070 and a WQHD monitor with which I then also play with a PS4 Pro.
I would save around 400 euro if I decide for WQHD… To come to 144 fps, does not matter to me. I'm also right with 60 fps. (I'm more of a casual gamer now).

Can the WQHD monitor even process a 4K signal? In any case, the PS4 Pro does not have a 1440p option.
I would definitely save the money! With an RTX 2070 or 2060 or a GTX 1660ti you will be better off. 4K is still very little common and really blatant falls, at least me, the difference between the resolutions not on!

Depends on the screen size.
In "normal" PC screen size (range 27-32 inches or similar) WQHD, because the size in the moving image anyway see no difference to 4K - the angular resolution of the human eye is too low than that you could seriously perceive…
For TV size, however, 4K can make sense.
I'd take WQHD - at least for the PC, "spares" the hardware or is not as hardware-hungry. I have no consoles - because, yes have a PC.

Exactly… The PS4 Pro usually creates no native 4K, so all resolutions used above 1080p are worthless and offer no visual added value… (irony off)
