To sum up: I don't have the best internet (approx. 14 Mbps (download) 860 kbps (upload)), but it is still good enough to be able to (usually) play with a ping of around 30ms.
I use a LAN connection, by the way my brother also uses one for his PC. It usually went well when my brother and I played at the same time, each with a reasonable ping.
But since today my brother started to play his VR games with his system and since then the upload has dropped to the lowest for me.
We tried to remove his LAN connection because he uses offline games and despite everything nothing improves. Outside of this connection, of course, there's my connection to the PS4 and mobile devices that use the WLAN.
Since there are no problems with the cell phones, (without my brother's VR play) I would assume that it can't be due to the cell phones. My only point would be all of his VR equipment. Unfortunately, this doesn't make sense to me, but I probably don't know enough about it.
Maybe one of you has an idea?
It always depends on the game.
If the game uploads a lot of data, then it's clear.
It only helps to coordinate, limit or prioritize your traffic
