It is completely dusty. It only helps to open up and clean with compressed air. And possibly renew the thermal grease.

I think the wool blanket, whatever that is supposed to be, is designed solely to protect against dust when the console is NOT in use. You absolutely have to take it away while gambling. No wonder the thing gets hot… You finally isolated it.
You have to do that with toothpicks. And vacuum cleaner is not good anyway
Toothpicks? Or you simply do it professionally and unscrew the console, clean it with compressed air and then renew the thermal grease and you have peace and quiet again. Every layman can do that.
I will not open my console because when I send them in, I do not want any stress with Sony. You can't do that
