Hi. I just turned on my pc. After an hour after turning it on, I opened a game and played it on high graphics. It wasn't gta or anything but some catchy one. It is about 2-3 gb. It didn't get as hot as a ps4 but although it was a normal game and the pc had only been on for an hour, it got so hot that I felt a real warmth even when I touched the case glass…
is that normal?
Ps. I don't know that much about things like that. I've only had a PC for a month.
Check the temperature of the graphics card and processor, so that you notice heat on the case is normal in itself.
Is that normal?
Absolutely. If my computer is at work and is challenged then you can notice in the back where the exhaust fans are how warm it is.
A case temperature of 40-50 degrees is by no means unusual.
A processor itself can heat up to 100 degrees. (In addition, the computer switches off automatically)
But this warmth has to go somewhere.
Knowing the installed hardware would certainly not be wrong. And what game we're talking about here. And most importantly? The temperatures. That you have + - 50-60 ° C "operating temperature" is quite normal, depending on the load, it can be a lot more. If that becomes too much for you, you either have to worry about your airflow in the case or consider things like water cooling…
How warm are the processor and graphics card exactly? Please read out temperatures.
Statements like "the pc is warm" don't say much.
