Why does not my mouse work on the Ps4 (fortnite)?

I wanted to know why my mouse when I connect it to the Ps4 does not work. I want to play fortnite with mouse and keyboard. The keyboard works ingame but the mouse does not work (though it does). Is it possible to adjust something? It even shows me that a mouse is connected.
