Stylistically, this is of course a purely subjective decision.

The textures were ok, good average but not outstanding, especially the opponents shown were rather disappointing, looked better like Doom Eternal. Actually the reason why the demo looks so good was 3 reasons: reflections in the water, light and fog. The reflections look better in every game that ray tracing is used for, but there are definitely alternative reflections without ray tracing that work just as well, a good example are the reflections in Mafia 1 remake, the game view has graphical weaknesses, but the reflections are really brilliant. I already saw light and shadow games with mods in Witcher 3 in 2016, i.d.r. Manufacturers have so far not done so because it can eat up a lot of performance and would not run on PS4 / xbox or on weak computers. In essence, you can see dynamic shadows in low resolution in Doom 3 from 2004, of course the general graphics are up to date, but that's nothing that would impress me particularly.

The techniques used, except for ray tracing (if used, is often not even necessary) are actually all very old. The problem is that games can't be compared 1: 1, I can only tell you that I have seen every single effect somewhere better. All in all, it was a coherent overall picture for me, how it feels across all zones in the game will only be shown, typically games that rely a lot on light / shadow games don't look so great in bright scenes.
