Debt in my sister's name?

So before I turned 18, I really wanted a Ps4. But at 16 I couldn't wait and 2. I didn't pay immediately, so with the consent of my sister I could open an account on Otto under her name so that I could buy the ps4 in question.

Now I'm almost 19 and have continued to use the account etc. Due to certain financial circumstances in which I had to use 1 month's salary for 2 months, I was unable to pay my installments (I ordered a switch, a closet and a cell phone there in the years) pay more. At first the rates had accumulated to around 300 euro, but now they want everything back at once. 1000 euro +

But since I have a financial bottleneck right now, of course I can't pay for it. I went to a debt counseling service today and it was only then that I noticed that the debts were made in the name of my sister and therefore could not be included in my advice.

So now to the main question: Is there a way to put a new invoice in my name at Otto so that my sister doesn't have any problems? Because if I tell them I want to change my name, it comes under fraud and I would get an ad, right?

Simply call or write an email and explain all to Otto

You had to get on with your sister. The creditor doesn't care. He gets the money.

lo

Did your sister know about all orders? If not, in my view this can actually be criminally relevant.

You can try to clarify the matter with the mail order company so that the liabilities may be transferred to your name.

Yes, she knew that I would order all of this in your name 🤔

lo

Then I don't see that as very relevant under criminal law. However, I'm a layperson.

You should try to clarify the rest with the mail order company. It is another question whether they agree to this.

If no, your sister must first pay the money and then claim it back from you. Or however you two clear that up between you.

If it should happen that she has to pay that, it will be pretty critical in the near future… Well, blame yourself
