At the moment there are Days of Play in the Playstation Store. Now I'm thinking about which Far Cry I should get. I have the choice between Far Cry 3,4,5 and New Dawn. Although I'd rather either play Far Cry 5 or New Dawn. I've never played Far Cry before and I wanted to know if anyone knew something.
Farcry 3 and 4 I think I like more than 5. Would maybe use Farcry 4
Without knowing what a game has to fulfill for you to be worthwhile, it's hard to say.
Far Cry 3 has the best story in my opinion. Part 5 the best gameplay from the newer Far Cry parts.
But nobody can tell you whether you will see it that way.
But none of them cost the world anymore and you can't go wrong with that.
So I found FC3 really annoying because of the recurring, identical missions.
That's one of the reasons why I never played FC4.
I don't think FC5 is bad, besides 1. FC it's the only one that I've ever played through. In addition, it has the arcade mode, which can generate a lot of playing time.
So FC5 definitely better than FC3, FC4 I can't judge.
Starting with Far Cry 5, the parts get more and more boring
I've played most of the parts myself and from experience I can say that Far Cry 4 and 3 are the best parts, but I would recommend 4 because it has better graphics and better gameplay. In Far Cry 5 absolutely nothing has changed, only that the animation when skinning the animals is omitted, which I personally found a shame and the story seemed bland.
