PayPal account was hacked?

I have the problem that without my knowledge and without my authorization my PayPal account and the account on file was used to buy a PSN money card worth 50 euro.

I noticed that quickly and contacted my bank. Apparently my credit card was used without my consent. This was then blocked and the money was credited to me by my bank.

Now the provider of the PSN money card has reported and demands the money.

I don't know the PayPal account at all, but my personal data such as name and address are there.

However, I have not added my credit card to my PayPal account

They may have created a PayPal account with my personal details and somehow found out my credit card details. An unknown email address was also used for this PayPal account.

What can I do now?

Create the advertisement and send it to the PSN seller with the reference number.

File a criminal complaint and inform the seller of the file number and the police authority, which you can also do online.

As long as you do not file a complaint, you are obliged to pay.

I would also use two-factor authentication for everything.

With me, for example, you can't enter PayPal without an SMS TAN.
Do not use my credit card without app confirmation.

My actual PayPal account has two-fold authentication.
