Evening, I wanted to buy a PS4 game in a set for 130 euro on Ebay classifieds. My older brother wanted to send me money on PayPal then he couldn't send me 130 euro that somehow didn't work. The button where "Send money" says it is usually blue, but it was gray with my brother it just didn't work, then I told him "Try it with small amounts" it worked with 4x 20 euro and then the button was gray again, so I said send 10 euro if it works and it only worked 1x 10 euro, so he was able to send me a total of 90 euro. I can't do anything with the money and then sent it back to him and he now says money withheld. What does this mean? We neither bought anything nor did I send the money as a service. I just want to send the money back to my older brother.

Are you both of legal age?
Have you entered correct data in your PayPal accounts, especially correct date of birth?
Do you have your bank accounts linked to your PayPal accounts?

Just called PayPal. The subject is off the table. They just wanted to make sure that the payment was made by me. In 24 hours my older brother will get the money. Haha you were probably not right
