Does anyone know if I can connect ordinary cymbal pads such as the Millennium MPS-200 or MPS-400 to my rock band 4 drums (for the Playstation 4)?

Is the supplied aux cable for the Millennium cymbal pads sufficient or do I need other accessories?

Do I have to program something or are the pools automatically recognized?

If you buy from Music Store or Thomann, you should call them. The experts there are familiar with them and will protect you from a bad purchase.

Hi! A real description can't be found anywhere. It is also difficult to estimate from pictures.

But I know the following for sure: such a pelvic pad is ultimately only "a switch", much more technology is there in my opinion. Not inside. Maybe something like a potentiometer for dynamics, but I don't know that I'm not a technician. The sounds are assigned on the controller. So if the 6.3-inch jack available at Millennium, which is operated with the simple pads with a mono cable, is also present on the RockbandController, then you can connect it.

I have e.g. Seen a MillenniumCrash connected to a Roland eDrum and that works flawlessly, even without any intervention.

But since I don't know how the rock band controller ticks and couldn't google any descriptions, I'm cautiously optimistic. I mean, these pools are not so expensive that you can't even start a test balloon and buy and test one first.

However, what I read is that they are relatively loud when you hit them, I could imagine that this is a bit annoying with rock bands if you don't play with headphones.

The bottom line: you don't know… But I would just give it a try. Or you actually call the drum department at Thomann, they may know that. Greeting
