So far I have always charged my PS4 controller by connecting it to the Playstation with the USB cable. I've heard that you can charge it as normal at the socket. So I took the adapter or power adapter from the Samsung S9+, which did not work. Do you need a special adapter or power supply to charge the controller without having to connect it to the console?
I can load my controllers normally via a power adapter (Apple, Huawei ect.)
If necessary, try another cable, because some plugs of the cables are too short and therefore do not touch the contacts in the controller!
Thanks for your quick reply. I'm going to try it. Maybe I just gave up too soon.
Another question: Does the controller light orange when it is being charged at the outlet? When I connect it to the console, it lights orange and blinks by the way.
The controller also lights up other power outlet orange
