As described in the title I think the battery is defective.
I bought the PS4 with 2 controllers used, but the main controller didn't work after not being used. It is not possible to charge via the USB charging socket. Different cables and USB plugs did not help. The docking station loads the controller from the bottom. However, that works, the yellow LED lights up 24/7. If I take the controller immediately afterwards, the LED lights up red, but can still start and use the PS4 (LED blue). However, the PS4 shows me that the controller continues to charge even though it is not connected. If you leave the controller after switching off, it will no longer work. Reset, new cables etc. I've already tried everything.
Hope someone can help.
Hmm, if USB connection is not working, how did the connection to the console go after a reset?
Have you ever had controllers loaded directly from the console via USB cable? Did that work?
If the controller has been reset, this controller must be connected to the running console directly via USB, then the PS button must be pressed, then all the LEDs on the controller will flash for a short time or longer, and only when this stops will the two devices be correctly connected.
But if all of that doesn't help or works, I assume a defective controller.
As described, nothing works via USB. This can be loaded from the bottom. Connect directly after loading via ps4 button. If you put it away after use (not in the charging station) nothing works anymore.
If USB does not work at all, you can't establish a connection to the console via controller. Then there's the problem that it does not work properly. Therefore, a new controller is probably needed!
