My ps4 controller seems to be broken. For example, if I use the R2 to accelerate in a car game (the crew2), the controller only accelerates very slowly, even when pressing: / that means that the key perceives complete pressing as a light pressing. Do I have to buy a new controller or can I somehow fix it myself? Is this a common problem? Can you avoid this problem? I have had the controller since December 6th, 2019.
So I would buy a new one because if it is broken there's a risk that it will go even more / faster again;)
Guarantee? Should fit from the date of purchase. Otherwise the spring is probably broken. I already had it and could fix it myself. Provides tutorials on YouTube.
Repairing a controller is not worthwhile in most cases.
Since it is still relatively new, you can see if you can get a replacement.
If not, I would buy a new one.
