PS5 WIRING? HOW?

How do I best connect PS5, TV and AV Receiver (no 4k)? Version1: Ps5 HDMI 2.1 in TV and via optical cable to receiver… Which I find kind of stupid. Version 2: HDMI in Receiver and on to TV. But then in the worse signal through my older receiver right? Does somebody has any idea?

Since you have no signal loss.

Via HDMI in the following order:

PS5 → AV Receiver → TV

Or you use ARC, then you would have the better signal if your television can use it at all

Yes, that with Arc would be another suggestion, my idea is to connect the PS5 directly to the TV and then to go to the AV receiver with an HDMI cable via ARC

Times will test whether the ARC connection outputs sound from another HDMI input. That would be very useful for me too.

But you have to set this on both the TV and the AV receiver so that it works
