No I did not. It is exactly the same model as the one in the picture, same shape and definitely not slim.

I have the slim version and everything is matt with me.

I know all models of the PS4 and also the versions and I can really confirm that it is a normal PS4, not slim, not pro and is already 4 years old.

Mine is also matt on both sides. There was probably a production series in which nothing shone.

No, you can also buy it completely matt.

I think the gloss varnish was only on the first versions of the PS4 above and was replaced in a newer one with a matt varnish as it is with the SLIM.

You have the 2000 edition, which is newer. What shone was the 1000 series which was the very first PS4 series. Yours is definitely quieter I can tell you.
