Playstation 5 and 144hz Full Hd monitor?

I'm concerned with this question. I have an Aoc g2460pf full hd 144hz. Now the Hdmi input of the monitor is limited to 60hz, but the 144hz are there via the display port. If I now insert a dvi adapter into the ps5 hdmi connection and then connect it with a displayport cable, will the 144hz work?

However, this should not work because the Playstation will not have the appropriate protocols for Display Port
