Ps4 HDD error code CE 30005-8 why?

I bought a 320GB external HDD from Maxone to expand the memory of my Ps4, but if I connect it and want to format it via the settings, the above error code comes up but this only applies to Blu Rays. Why does the error come when formatting the HDD?

If it's just about formatting, try this on the PC. If I remember correctly, ExFat would be a suitable file system for the PS4, which also accepts files over 4GB in size.
