In this case, is it worth replacing an old HDD with a new HDD?

I have 2 SSD in the system and an old HDD from my PS4. The two SSDs are for Windows and games and the HDD as a data grave and also some older games where an SSD is hardly worthwhile.

My Seagate HDD: (is 2.5 "because it comes from a PS4, as I said)

2TB
5400rpm
32MB cache
SATA 3GB / s

The writing and reading speed is just about 98 MB / s, so I wanted to know whether it is worth buying a new one.

Would you notice the difference to a 7200rpm with 256MB cache and 3.5 "(Seagate or WD) or does it make less of a difference?

ra

Yes you can tell the difference.

In addition, an HDD loses performance over time as it wears out.

cu

It's not worth it because the difference is too small.

cu

Between 90 and 140?

ra

50 MB / s is 50 mb. It's more than half.

Hard drive is also relatively old. I bought the few months after PS4 release and took the HDD with me when I switched to PC.

Operating hours are 21,000, I don't know whether the PS4 time is counted there.

cu

For the same price he gets 500

As long as it doesn't really bother you, you don't need a faster record.

Why 140?

Most of the current HDDs I've seen up to now have around 200-2100 MB / s according to the benchmark
