Is there a setting by removing a Playstation from the mesh, for example, so that it gets Internet via the Fritzbox instead of the repeater?
So: Mesh works so that all devices and all bands (2.4 and 5 GHz) have the same SSID. The Fritzbox then ensures that the devices are always connected to the optimal access point.
I'm not aware of any option to assign a device to an access point. What exactly is your problem?
Thanks for the answer:-) I have the 450e repeater (intended only for cell phones) and the Playstation keeps connecting to it instead of connecting to the Fritzbox 7590. Gaming or video stream hangs all the time. Therefore I want to connect it to the box again without breaking the mesh:-)
You can't provide a repeater "only for cell phones". If it is closer to the Playstation, it will connect to it, of course. Position repeater:

You should first localize the problem why there are crashes. You can activate an Iperf server in the repeater as well as in the Fritzbox and test the speed. Please post a screenshot of your mesh overview where you can see the repeater and the connected Playstation.
