Fritz Mesh Repeater 3000 Advantage through Ethernet / LAN connection?

I have an AVM Fritz Mesh Repeater 3000 in the living room. The router is in a different room and therefore I can't connect the TV and PlayStation directly to the router via LAN cable.
Do I have any advantages if I now e.g. Connect the PlayStation to the Mesh Repeater via an Ethernet / LAN cable instead of a WLAN connection?

You have one potential source of error less…

My only thought is that the repeater is only connected to the router via WLAN and if I now connect devices to the repeater via LAN, I still don't have a "real" LAN connection

Ro

You don't have either.

But there are two wireless connections from the router to the repeater to the Playstation.

A radio link is always a potential source of error. Signal can be disturbed etc. Pp.

If you now connect the Playstation to the repeater via LAN, one wireless connection is less. In other words, 50% less error-prone.

The data is only transferred from the router to the repeater and not via Wi-Fi to the PS… So no double data transfer…

The PS directly via Wi-Fi with the router does not work?

jo

Connecting via Wi-Fi is also possible, the Mesh Repeater does not create a new Wi-Fi. So I can either connect the PlayStation via Wi-Fi or connect it to the Mesh Repeater with a LAN cable

I don't really know what you mean, I only have one wireless network. I could connect with that, yes
