What is the best way to clean the DVD?

So, I wanted to play this Blu-ray Disc on my PS4, but it can't be captured properly. I think that's because of the little white spots. What is the best way to get this clean?

Try a glasses cleaning cloth

Rinse with water and soap until it still does not work, i.e. (the CD is not read) I would make toothpaste on the underside so smear wait a few minutes and then rinse it with water and dry it takes 2 min

Doesn't that damage the disc? That was my concern

With bad luck, I only know such spots when the DVD / CD was in the sun. If you have bad data partitions or deeper scratches, you could still save them with CD Repair and a soft flow cloth like rubbing them in clockwise

A very bad idea to clean a film consisting of foils with alcohol could possibly backfire

Damaged the disc enormously because of the small stones in the toothpaste
