Question. I just wanted to dig up my PS2 again, but I had to say that it was goodbye.
Is there a console to play the good old PS2 games?
How good the first generation of Ps3 with the Ps2 games I do not know and somehow I have the feeling that the PS5 can play a maximum of Ps4 Games. I also wanted to build myself a retro console with the Rapberry Pi, but then I learned that there can't be played any PS2 games. Unfortunately my PC is not powerful enough for the PCSX2 emulator…

Ps2 is a generation console where emulator is no longer possible. At least not playable.
What is a "generation console" and of course the PS2 emulator runs playable, even on my smartphone!
Original PS2 discs can only be played on the PS2 and the PS3 of the first generation (60GB version). On the PS4 there are some PS2 titles as HD versions. Maybe your favorite song is there. Otherwise, I would just guess a used PS2
