My headset: Logitech g231
I used to use the headset on the Ps4 and it worked perfectly, then I bought a gaming PC and when I connect it to the splitter, there's no sound / microphone does not work, and the headset is not recognized by the PC.
A. The jack plug for audio out is not inserted correctly.
B. Have you chosen the right audio device?
PS: C. Is the front panel even connected?
It looks like the headphone jack plug (green) is not inserted far enough into the socket.
I just plugged in the headset just for the photo, so it can't be that, right?
Looks like the audio out isn't there properly.
Have you chosen the right device? Since it is a jack headset, nothing with Logitech is displayed. But mostly like this: "Realtake Audio…" or something else with audio. Just give it a try.
Plug the headset into the back of the mainboard.
What exactly do you mean by "there's neither a sound / microphone does not work"?
Is there no sound coming from the earphones or the microphone does not work?
Or not both?
What do you base the assumption that the PC does not recognize the headset?
So there's no sound and you can't hear me but on the ps4 the headset worked well so it may be that my PC does not recognize the headset
Is there no sound coming from the headphones or is the microphone not working?
If I see it correctly then
… The plug in the headphone is not plugged in properly
… The headphone cable plug may be too big
