I want to connect my PS4 to a relatively old screen. Since this has a display port connection and my Ps4 has a normal HDMI connection, I got a cable that has an HDMI connection on one side and a Display Port connection on the other side. I have now connected this to the screen and the PS4. But even when I connect the PS4, the screen shows no signal. What could that be? Do I have to change anything in the PS4 settings or can the screen be too old?
Can you please send a picture of the cable?
Thanks I think I found the solution. The cable only goes in one direction. That means I bought Display Port to HDMI but need it the other way around.
