HDMI cable connection to the monitor no longer works. What to do?

So the following: I have a second monitor that I connect to my laptop with Windows 10 via HDMI. Everything worked great until Thursday, but all of a sudden I haven't had a picture on the monitor since Thursday when I use the HDMI cable and press Windows + P for expansion.

I've tried just about everything: another HDMI cable, reinstalled / updated drivers, sfc / scannow, searched for and installed updates, and I've even restarted Windows 10. Unfortunately the connection still doesn't work. I also switched the connection to HDMI on the Philips monitor and as I said, the cable works because it sends an image from the XBOX to the monitor.

What I find strange: When I plug the HDMI cable into the socket on the laptop, the monitor says: No video input signal. And when I pull out the cable: check the cable connection. The monitor must be receiving something.

As I said, I'm a little at a loss. Unfortunately, I can't take the laptop apart because everything is stuck together very tightly. I think it's either a hardware problem or something with the HDMI port. As I said, it ran flawlessly until Thursday and didn't see anything that could be broken.

Maybe you still know a solution or do you have a tip? I'm grateful for everything!

Have you ever tried a battery pull? So power cable out and battery out? So that all components can discharge?

If you have a laptop with a built-in battery, there are sometimes software tricks for. So with HP, you have to switch off the device, pull the power cable, hold the power button down for 30 seconds (this simulates the battery pull, nothing happens on the screen), then switch it on normally and plug the power cable back in.

This works great with some of our HP laptops for problems with:

Network card is no longer addressed
USB-C sockets no longer work
External connections no longer respond
Laptops can no longer be switched on
