Hi! I use a Ps4 pro on a 4k HDR10 monitor. The problem is that apparently according to ps4 the HDMI 2.0 cable 4k and HDR not with RGB colors, which is why only YUV422 is used (see picture). Honestly, that looks very bad. Then I bought an "8k HDMI 2.1" cable which didn't make any difference. I also use the new cable in the picture. Does anyone know that better than me? As it is, HDR looks almost worse than without it because the colors are so bad. The monitor can also emulate HDR and it looks really good, but of course it doesn't work so well with shadows.
My monitor is the BenQ EW3270UE. I've already seen its HDR and it looks really good, but when I'm connected to the laptop, unfortunately it looks kooky on the Playstation, and that's where I would prefer HDR.
With the Playstation you only get what you get. Console stop. Nobody can fix that.
That's true, I thought about building one together for a long time, but I don't gamble often enough that it's worth it
