Is this an HDMI 1.4? I heard that the cable of the ps4 pro is 1.4 and that is why there's no 4K and HDR working, but I assumed that I had the Slim, which can also support HDR. I have a 4K TV that supports HDR the ps4 slim HDR my question is whether I can also play in HDR / full HD? I know that the majority of the population also have the slim, does anyone know whether it works to be able to play 1080p / HDR with the included HDMI cable or do I have to buy one? I would also like to tell you if it is true that the Pro only has one HDMI 1.4 and would like to know if there are any problems because my TV connections have HDMI 2.0 and if I play in a lower resolution with HDMI 1.4 can there be image problems? Maybe someone is still playing ps4 slim on a 4K TV?
HDMI 1
Does HDR work for you?
The higher the HDMI standard, the better and higher the data transmission. I was never a friend of expensive cables, but in that case quality is also good.
As far as I know, you should use HDMI 2.0 for 4K. Beyond 2.1.
The HDMI 2.0 of your TV is not the problem, but the resolution you want to play and the cable that has to carry the data. A lower HDMI standard cable can also be operated with an HDMI 2.0 input. But it won't be anything with high resolution.
No no no no I don't mean I want to be able to play HDR on Full HD. The slim can't do 4K but HDR is enough for a 1.4 cable?
After all, you've already answered 1 question fr
As I read you should need the HDMI 2.0a standard for HDR. So with 1.4 it would be nothing.
The slim doesn't have that, does it? But it says that the slim HDR can
