I would like to get myself an aquarium with a capacity of around 100 liters. To do this, I need a new table on which the aquarium can stand. Unfortunately my current TV table is too low and probably too unstable. Do you know a suitable table for me, where the weight and size of the aquarium fit and where you can put other things like PlayStation, Apple TV on it?
An aquarium with a volume of 100 liters when fully set up (with substrate, heating and so on) weighs 140 kg. For this you need a stable substructure. - Ask a carpenter, he should build something stable for you.
You can get used aquarium cabinets very cheaply, for example on ebay classified ads, so you are on the safe side. If you want to keep fish, you should refrain from putting a television or similar next to the aquarium, on the one hand it is not advisable for safety reasons and the constant noise certainly does not make the fish happy.
You have to have space above the aquarium to work with. So you will hardly be able to put the television on the same cabinet, it should then be hung on the wall.
It is better to buy a table that is intended for aquariums and that doesn't really matter (or not that much) if water splashes, leaks or overflows.
