Which (wireless) headset is the best?

I want to buy a new headset. It should be wireless. Doesn't have to, but it would be good.

For me the sound is very important. So far I've had the Roccat Khan Aimo, which is said to be very, very good. That was enough for me. So not really good, but okay.

I don't care how good the microphone is, how much the headset weighs and how comfortable it is. The sound has to be right. I have to hear whether an opponent is behind me, above me, next to me or somewhere else.

What I liked about the Khan Aimo was that you could just flip up the microphone and then you were muted. In my opinion this is the best solution. This is not a must, I can also do it for you. But it shouldn't be static and it should be possible to change it with (only) one button.

It's supposed to be really extremely good, that's why I also say that the price doesn't matter. It shouldn't cost 1000 euro now, but that's rather unusual anyway, I guess. But as long as it's in the three-digit range, that's fine.

It must be compatible with a PS4 and a cell phone at the same time. The jack is not stable and if it only has Lightning or USB, that won't work. So wireless would be best.

I like Steelseries Siberia v3 but it breaks after 1.5 years if you use it every day.

Al

How does it break? Normal wear and tear or is the quality cheap?

From the sound itself, I'm completely convinced of the Astro A50 Gen 4, even outside of gaming and tracking by sound, the part bangs properly, but the microphone is bad, and the battery life is 15 hours with a charging time of 5 hours (theoretically usable via cable ).

You can also tune the microphone by folding it up.

PS: It is not compactable with a mobile phone, read too late: /

Sounds good.

Wireless but not compatible with cell phones? How can I imagine that?

In any case, the Arctis 9 can run the mobile phone and console at the same time, the sound is also quite good + very short charging time with a battery of ~ 20 hours

is

Generally not compatible with mobile phones, the headset works either only for PS / PC or Xbox / PC. But always only one of the two

My son did

and is very satisfied with it. For example, he plays World Of Tanks and activated 7.1. The surround sound works. The advantage of the headset is the extremely long battery life, which is actually achieved in practice.

When I set it up, I had it on myself and was very surprised by the excellent sound. However, it will not work on the mobile phone because it does not have Bluetooth.

If you want a little more, this can be done here

be a possibility. This also has the advantage that the battery can be replaced. It also has bluetooth.

A loudspeaker gives up the ghost. I used to have Siberia v2. Very good sound. Microphone sounded so good but it is easily enough for gaming. I've always treated it well, it never fell.

One speaker dead after 1.5 years. Warranty brought a new one. And that four times. They held every 1.5 years one of them even 2 years (the last one). I had 4 pieces. Used 3x warranty.

Th

Sennheiser has a headset on amazon for 400 euro that is the best. But I think they all break after a while.

Th

By the way, I had Siberia v2 for 60 euro.

Gaming headsets only work with the respective adapter, as they use a latency-free radio protocol. However, the adapter can't be connected to a mobile phone. With a few exceptions, these headsets do not have Bluetooth.

Al

Ah, so. Yes then I would just choose one with Bluetooth.

Gl

It should have both Bluetooth for mobile phones and 2.4 GHz for gaming on the PS or PC.

Al

I compared a few headsets, including the A50. And it seems like the Roccat Khan Aimo, my current headset, is the best. At least from the sound. On Versus.com, ALL were 20000hz high and 20hz low. The Khan Aimo was the only one that was 400000hz high and 10hz deep.

I think that's a shame because I'm really not impressed. And I also think it's a shame that I can't find a matching Bluetooth headset.

The human hearing hears frequencies of around 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz in adolescence and gets worse and worse with age. The claimed frequency range is irrelevant as long as it is not stored with +/- dB values. Have you taken a look at the Sennheiser GSP 670? This also has both proprietary and Bluetooth connections. In the end, you have to decide for yourself what you want, but looking at irrelevant data means you are wasting your money.
