Ps4 Pro correct picture settings on 4k TV?

The Ps4 has games that have been enhanced for the PS4 Pro and thus look a little better. How is that for games that are not enhanced. Will the games still be displayed better or will the picture be displayed exactly like on a ps4?

I use a Samsung q90r 4k TV. The TV has a very good Ai upscaler. The Ai Upscaler is of course not activated when I set my ps4 pro to 2160p. Is a non-enhanced game also shown improved in 4k? Because if not, then it is more worthwhile to set the resolution to 1080p and upscale the TV for the non-enhanced games, isn't it?

Does anyone have any idea how the ps4 pro represents that?

The Ps4Pro can't do 4K, only native.

br

Lol, your sentence makes no sense.

Just for understanding

The Ps4 Pro can't do 4k, only native 4k

br

I say yes, no sense. Your statement is contradictory in itself. Native 4k is 4k.

di

Ah sorry I meant extrapolated 4k

Nu

As far as I know, games that have not received an extra update upscaled the picture from the standard PS4 resolution (1080p or 720p), whether it looks better or worse is a matter of opinion.

The PS4 Pro has the boost mode. You can get a bit higher frame rates, but the resolution is not higher.

I don't know how well your TV can upscale the game. The easiest way to find out is to give it a try.

Oh yes, you have to set the Boost Mode in the settings yourself.
