I get on November 19th My PS5, but now it's like Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be released next week. I know the PS4 version gets a free upgrade to PS5, but if I pre-order the PS5 digital version from the Playstation Store, can I play it on PS4? I can't find anything on the internet at all. Sure I could buy the PS4 version, but somehow I have the feeling that I won't get the best version on the 5er.
If you select the PS5 Edition in the Playstation store, it says in bold below that you can't play it from the PS4. 🤷♀️ So the question answered…

No that doesn't work. However, if you buy the ps4 version, you can update your game to the ps5 version for free after the ps5 is released. So just buy the ps4 version and update as soon as you have the new console.
