Psn password entered too often?

Hello yesterday I entered my psn password incorrectly too many times and after a few times the message account blocked came up and I could no longer use network services. I should change my password via email. Today, however, I was able to log in again as normal when I remembered the correct password. How is that possible?

It's a bit like a cell phone, the number of false information will reset after some time.
