About 10 days ago someone went into my Amazon account and bought a 50 euro PSN card with my bank details. I immediately changed my password and removed my bank details. I saw that a new bank account was added (from a "HSBC TRINKHAUS UND BURKHARDT AG"). This was then linked to my billing address.

I couldn't cancel the 50 euro PSN card, so I contacted Amazon via Support Chat. There I described the situation and they told me that my account should be blocked within 48 hours. And the order and payment is withdrawn. After the blocking I should get a link with which I can reset my password. My account was blocked within 48 hours and since the blocking (6 days ago) I have not received a message from Amazon.

If I want to log in and get the password, my password is not valid. And when I go to reset my password, I can do it via SMS or email. With either of these, I don't get a password reset message.

Is it normal for it to take so long to unlock?

Have you at least filed a complaint beforehand so that the misused bank account can be investigated?

And your Mailaddy still belongs to the Amazon account?

With bad luck you are in a support loop from employees who do not care about you and can follow any progress for weeks.

No, I have not filed a complaint. And the email still belongs to the account as it is displayed when you log in. Can the support over the phone help?
