Consequences of an electric shock of 230V?

While repairing my Ps4 I stupidly came across a capacitor and got an electric shock of approx. 230V. Since the fuse went straight out, it was over in less than a second. I have heard of cardiac arrhythmias that can occur on the Internet. Now, a day later, my pulse is still normal. Could there be further consequences?

Lu

So you touched the capacitor while the device was still in the socket?

Sw

Don't worry, much too short, it's like getting at a cattle fence, a quick shock, that's it.

co

Normally you would have to monitor your heart 24 hours a day, but that's over now!
I also doubt that there's a capacitor in the PS4 that charges up to 230 V… Rather a smoothing capacitor after transformation and rectification?

Lu

I can be quite right. In the annual first aid training, we're told that contact with a pasture fence can lead to heart problems later on. Years later.

Co

You disassemble your PS4 while it is on the power? How dumb can someone be?

mo

In the event of an electric shock, electricians must be hospitalized for 24 hours to monitor. (usually nobody does…)

Cardiac arrhythmias can occur hours later.

A pasture fence does not have 50 Hz and the current is too low to cause damage, which can't be compared.

Lu

There's no way to compare that. But I have to go into it. Since they still tell us that the contact with such a fence is classified as too harsh and damage should also occur there.

I didn't work on it anymore when it was open. It was open and I wanted to see if the CD drive works now. Then I accidentally got the capacitor…

mo

Surely every electric shock has had consequences, albeit small, for healthy people.

The body is not made to conduct electricity…

It becomes dangerous when blood cells clump together due to the flow of electricity and trigger a stroke.
